RULES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF FILMS

Only films related to any area of Hand Surgery and previously unpublished may participate.

Video length: up to 5 minutes
Video formats: Mpeg2, Mpeg4 (.mpg), Windows Media 9 (.vmv), Quick Time (.mov) or AVI
Maximum size: 25MB

A qualified jury will judge them based on the following criteria: scientific contribution, originality, innovation and artistic impression.

Results will be presented at the 36th Brazilian Congress of Hand Surgery in São Paulo, Brazil.

Winning videos will receive a certificate for best video in each specified category with the names of all the registered authors. Videos that rank first in each category will receive an award. The decision of the judges is final.

RULES

• Final submission deadline is 12/05/2016
• All films must be previously UNPUBLISHED.
• Only films in DVD format are acceptable. (VHS, S-VHS and DV will not be accepted).
• Supported formats: Mpeg2, Mpeg4 (.mpg), Windows Média 9 (.vmv), Quick Time (.mov), AVI or MP4
• Maximum size: 25MB.
• Films should have a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
• Two (2) DVD copies, accompanied by two (2) copies of the Video Submission Form and an abstract up to 2300 characters (with spaces) describing the video to be presented should be sent for initial evaluation by the judges. Copies of the DVDs should not contain any form of identification, either written or oral.
• The institution or institutions where the work was performed, as well as the names of the authors, must NOT be mentioned in the abstract.
• The submitted films will be available for the SBCM archive.

FILMS NOT COMPLYING WITH THE ABOVE RULES WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISQUALIFIED AND WILL NOT BE JUDGED.

The films, Video Submission Forms and abstract should be sent via SEDEX to the Executive Secretary of the Congress, FPE EVENTOS.
